Located 145 kms South of Paris in a small Burgundy village our camp is a true horseback riding school.

Surrounded by 90 acres of land, forests and beautiful gardens, our camp is the perfect setting for horseback riding and medieval programs.

Our campers will stay in a beautiful house (18th century). On 2-storey levels, it offers rooms of 3 to 9 beds, (separate quarters for boys and girls) with shower facilities on each floor, a large dining-room with a view on the park and many activity rooms including a real cinema.

Theme

This is a true pony/horseback riding school (80 horses). Under the supervision of professionals, campers will learn the skills to become good riders, they will also learn how to take good care of their horse. Activities include: field trips and camping trips, equestrian shows and games, horse ball, Acrobatics, jumping fences...!

Activities

HORSEBACK RIDING ACTIVITIES:

Horseback riding: 2 to 3 hours per day

Horseback riding trips: depending on their age and level, each camper will have a chance to ride on the many forest trails surrounding the center to practice their new riding skills.

Introduction to equestrian acrobatics: Acrobatics in circles, by team, riding the horse while expressing grace, flexibility and strength will be the goal in this activity. Equestrian acrobatics is the performance of acrobatics on a moving horse. It is one of the oldest and safest equestrian disciplines, and best of all, it does not require you to have your own horse! Campers will begin with easy exercises in walk, and then gradually progress to choreographed freestyle performances. Each lesson focuses on safety and having fun. No previous riding experience is necessary. In fact, vaulting will help them learn to ride or become a better rider!

Field Trips

- Visit of a local farm,
- One day  at « YOUMBAO » (Theme Park, Games)

Activities will be scheduled (programmed) according to the wishes of the children and the propositions of the teaching staff.
